These short videos, totaling about five minutes, complement the overall 50-minute program and highlight the power of student voice.

Sarah struggled with various social-emotional pressures at school and in life. These pressures adversely affected her mental health and caused her to turn to vaping as an outlet for her stress. This poor choice created serious consequences in her life and led her down a road of self-discovery.

Faced with the pressures of good grades and a deep desire to attend the college of her choice, Linda is pushed to her breaking point and forced to realize that putting her health first is more important than cramming for her next test or living up to an unrealistic expectation.

Bullied because of his religious beliefs, Arjun’s story is one of building connections and creating a more inclusive culture across campus.

Angered by his difficult upbringing and driven to make poor choices at school, Jamal’s story is one of hope and desire to overcome the negative challenges that haunted him. Ultimately, finding his voice in middle school helped provide him with success in high school and beyond!

Crystal must search for her inner voice, and cultivate the strength to face the harsh criticisms and unrealistic expectations of the digital world. She and countless other teens face a distorted social media mirror — a challenge which they can only overcome by forming their own sense of identity.
