A Story of Positive School Conflict Resolution

I’m excited to announce our newest book: Rising Above: A Story of Positive School Conflict Resolution, which is now available for pre-order. Similar to books we’ve published in the past, this book seeks to provide as much useful and actionable information as possible. Unlike our past books, however, this book uses a story to convey these ideas.

Resolving school conflict is difficult and uncomfortable for most of us, but conflict can be a good thing. If handled carefully, conflict can result in a massive improvement for everyone involved. This book seeks to outline some of the best practices for shifting conflict from an anxiety-inducing problem to an opportunity to seek real solutions.

The story focuses on a counselor named Monica Sheppard, who has just begun working at Serenity Springs High School. Throughout the story, you’ll get to observe scenes focusing on a wide range of conflict involving teachers, students, administrators, and parents. Each one of these conflicts is loosely based on real life situations which we have observed over the last several years touring America.

The book contains some of the best information I’ve ever come across as explained by leading experts including Dr. Pete Getz, Emil Harker, and Dr. Stephanie Eberts. It would be impossible for me to overstate how much these experts contributed to both the book and to schools across the country with their work. I’m extremely grateful for both their expertise and their generosity with that expertise.

We all have problems. We all face conflict. But that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. If you’re interested in learning how to make conflict a good thing, then I’m confident this book will guide you. You can pre-order the book today by clicking here.
