3 Things to Know BEFORE You Book Your Fall Assembly

2020 is in full swing and here at TEEN TRUTH, we’re already on track to have one of our best years ever! We’re all thrilled to be able to help schools learn how to build school culture, how to create resilient students, and how to develop positive staff relationships.

That said, I’ve had a few schools ask some really great questions, so I thought I’d take the time to address three frequently asked questions.

Your film content seems kind of edgy, do you really think kids are ready for this?

One of the biggest focal points of TEEN TRUTH is turning to students to lead the discussion. These topics might seem extreme, but your students face them regularly. As a LMFT, I’ve discovered a hard but important truth when it comes to problems: you can either pay with a little discomfort and talk about it now, or you can pay with a lot of pain later. We’re dedicated to igniting that conversation, and it is our responsibility as adults to be receptive to that discussion, even if it isn’t easy.

Do your speakers range in quality?

Our speakers are all fantastic, and their quality is consistently high. However, they do very much range in life experience, which means that some of our speakers focus more on topics like school bullying, while others focus on other topics such as the struggle students have with personal image, suicidal ideation, or difficulties at home. Don’t worry! We’re happy to match you to the right speaker for your school so that we can make sure to address your specific needs. Or learn more about their stories below:

Is your assembly affordable for my school?

Budget is a massive factor for most schools, especially these days! Fortunately, we’ve been around long enough to have figured out a few tips and tricks on how to make your budget work. If you’re not sure if we’re within your budget this year, don’t worry, our team is dedicated to making sure that you understand your options before you commit to having us visit your school. At TEEN TRUTH, we are dedicated to helping your school in any way we can, and we’re happy to walk you through the process so that you can rest assured that your school is getting what it needs.
